Many of us knew Thomas as not only an intense, present, thoughtful, intelligent, brooding, cynical, sweetheart of a guy, but also as a particularly gifted musician. Over the course of his life, he recorded two full-length albums, and countless cassette tapes of live shows, open-mic performances at The Whale, and of course impromptu jams at his house and elsewhere.
More recordings can be found here.
Below is a recording Thomas did of his song Swearin’ At The Wind.
Enjoy, and remember the quiet giant that dwelt among us.
Thomas opened for Hot Tuna at the Criterion. Wish I could remember the date. 2001ish maybe?

He did open for Hot Tuna that summer. That was a fun show. That was so great to have Tom open that show. It was 2001. I can’t remember the exact date. I think Zach made a CD of the Hot Tuna portion. I don’t know if he recorded Tom or not that day. I’ll ask him. I think that was the show I ran FOH and Zach S. ran the monitors. What a fun summer that was.
Man. It’s hard to believe he’s gone. Listening to these tracks brings back so many memories. Jeesh.
